Remove the stock oil cooler and relocate your oil filter from the oil pan to block. 

 

When installing the 3sge into other chassis the stock oil filter sits low and out, this eliminates the stock clutter as well as the fact the stock oil cooler's tend to fail with age.

 

A thermostatic oil plate can also be added for an external air/oil cooler.

 

 

 *You must devise a way to block off OEM ports on the oil pan
